WINGS was founded in 1978 with a goal to provide quality beachwear at affordable prices. As one of the pioneers in the industry and the city of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the company has since expanded to 30 nationwide stores. The privately held company remains a family owned and operated business until today.

The company is an active member in the communities in which it operates and donates to schools, churches, temples, and other local educational and cultural institutions.
